Shopian shuts on straight eighth day

Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed in south Kashmir’s Shopian on eighth straight day Monday barring a couple of hours on Saturday against the killing of four unarmed civilians and two militants in a shootout at Pahnoo village on March 4.
All shops, business establishments, school are closed while no traffic is on the roads.
Reports from Pinjora, Pahnoo and adjoining villages said that locals are demanding the removal of Pahnoo Army camp.
