55 youth qualify FCI courses under ‘Hunar Se Rozgar’

RAMBAN: 55 educated unemployed youth including girls were given away certificates on Saturday on passing their 8-week and 6-week courses in different batches organised by the Food Craft Institute (FCI), Jammu under Government of India scheme ‘Hunar Se Rozgar’.
District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ramban, Tariq Hussain Ganai was the chief guest on the occasion. Principal Food Corporation of India, Jammu Jyoti Bhatti, faculty members Prince Anayat, Dheeraj Sharma and Ajaz Lone along with students and locals were also present on the occasion.
According to an official statement, the DDC asserted that ‘Hunar Se Rozgar’ is a golden opportunity for the unemployed youth to find out a livelihood in future.
The passing out students were given Food & Beverages and House Keeping training at Tourist Bungalow, Banihal. Each trainee student was also awarded with an amount of Rs 1,500 per course as stipend and a certificate, it added.
