Clashes erupt in Shopian areas after prayers

Srinagar: Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted at least at three places in south Kashmir’s Shopian district soon after the Friday congregational prayers culminated.
The reports of clashes have reached from Imamsahab, Mimender and Sofanaman areas of the district.
Government forces resorted to tear gas shelling against the stone pelting youth at the said places, witnesses said.
Unarmed civilians Suhail Ahmad Wagay of Pinjora, Shahid Khan of Malik Gund, Shahnawaz Wagay of Langandora Trenze and Gowhar Ahmad Mir of Molu Dangerpora were killed in Indian army at Pahnoo.
Two militants namely Amir Ahmed Malik of Harmain and Ashiq Ahmad of Rakpora were also killed in the action.
