Night temp improves, days remain pleasant in Kashmir

Srinagar: The night temperature improved, though settled below normal, at majority of the places in Kashmir valley, which is experiencing summer-like weather due to sunshine.
The border town of Kargil was the coldest in the region at minus 7.5 degrees, followed by Leh, where the mercury settled at minus 5. 7 degree.
A Met department spokesperson told UNI that light rain or snow would occur at one or two places in the higher reaches during the next 24 hours in the state.
