Shopian killings: All six slain laid to rest, gun salute offered to militants

Srinagar: All the six slain including four civilians and two militants were laid to rest in their ancestral areas in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday.
Civilians namely Suhail Ahmad Wagay of Pinjora, Shahid Khan of Malik Gund, Shahnawaz Wagay of Langandora Trenze and Gowhar Ahmad Mir of Molu Dangerpora and two militants Amir Ahmed Malik of Harmain and Ashiq Ahmad of Rakpora were killed in the southern district in force’s action.
Local sources said that militants offered gun salute to their slain colleagues in Harman and Rakpora areas during their funerals.
Earlier thousands attended funeral prayers of civilians and militants.

    Wow…. Gun salute to terrorists? Kashmiri muslims have forgotten what it means to “fight for freedom”. Jannat mein reh ke use ujaad diya aur jihaad karne lage jannat ke liye? They are not averse to India’s money, but have problems belonging to India. Do they know what they want?
