Grievance redressal helpline ‘Raabta’ launched in Rajouri

RAJOURI: District Administration Rajouri, as part of its public outreach efforts, Thursdaylaunched an online portal ‘RAABTA’ for online complaint registration.
District Development Commissioner Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary said that with URL’ raabta.nic.net.nic.in’ any citizen from any part of the district or State can access the portal and lodge a complaint regarding his/her grievance. “A complaint number will be generated which, in turn, will be used for effective tracking of the complaint”, Dr Shahid added.
“The complaint will be registered using a mobile number of Complainant to avoid anonymous complaints”, the DC said adding that app ‘Raabta’ can also be downloaded from Google Play Store in Android-based phones for effective complaint registration and complaint monitoring. The app is user-friendly with ‘Location Sharing’ feature to zero down exact problem area, the DDC said.
Sharing more details, he said that a Control Center has been established in DC Office Rajouri for effective and time-bound monitoring/disposal of the complaints. He said that it will function on lines of CM’s Grievance cell and the department concerned to which a complaint pertains shall be made accountable.
