Anantnag: Addressing the party workers at Anantnag, National Conference leader and former MLC, Dr Bashir Ahmed Veeri criticised coalition government of damaging institutions beyond repair.
He said by appointing “dubious” people as heads of institutions who are resorting every illegal means to by-pass established mechanism of such institutions to promote nepotism, favouritism, corruption, political affiliation & consideration.
“The surfacing of scandals in appointment to public sector undertakings is just the tip of iceberg leading to appointments already under scanner in JK Bank and inflation of number of casual labours from sixty thousand to one lac largely comprised of PDBJP workers,” he said.
These brazen violations have sent a wave of disappointment among the aspiring youth of state and its negative impact is palpable in South Kashmir where youth is further pushed towards radicalism out of disillusionment and lack of transparency, Veeri said.
“All these developments are evolving in loss of faith of youth in recruitment policy of state which is further contributing in the growing anger of educated youth in the system all across the state,” NC leader said.
Veeri also lashed district administration for embezzlement in flood relief which has been provided to members of ruling family of Bijbehara and workers of a particular political party in violation of norms and damages suffered. He demanded high level probe in these embezzlements.
NC leader further stressed party workers to work for strengthening base of party in the region and face challenges with zeal and determination.
