SRINAGAR: The wildlife employees of Jammu and Kashmir, under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Wildlife Employees and Workers Union on Wednesday, staged a protest demonstration at Partap Park in Srinagar.
Scores of the protestors assembled at Partap park shouting anti-government slogans demanded the promotions according to their seniority, increase in the salaries, designation change among helpers and rehabilitation of casual labourers and senior labourers.

We demandthat the state government to increase our wages as per the minimum wages act of the state. If the state government have given the benefits to all the casual labourers and daily wagers under the SRO520, then why casual labours and seasonal labourers of the wildlife department are ignored.”
