Baramulla: A high level delegation of Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF), Federation of Chamber Industries Kashmir (FCIK) and Beopar Mandal Baramulla led by KTMF president Muhammad Yasin Khan, FCIK president Muhammad Ashraf and Er Tairq Ahmad Mugloo, general secretary Traders Federation Baramulla on Tuesday visited Uri and interacted with the families affected due to cross border shelling at the Line of Control (LoC).
The total number of affected families, due to cross border shelling, are 250 and are temporary settled at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Uri, Er Tairq Mugloo said, adding that they have distributed relief material among the affected families and assured them that whole Kashmiri nation is with them.
The delegation said due to the lingering Kashmir dispute, the people of border areas are immensely suffering and are getting dislocated time and again.
“So many precious lives have been lost on both sides of the border, for no fault of them,” the delegation said. “By resolving Kashmir issue peaceful and amicably, people of both the nations will feel a sigh of relief.”
