SRINAGAR: To brighten the prospects of veterinary graduates and increase their chances of qualifying the prestigious examination, Career Counseling and Placement Cell, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, SKUAST-Kashmir conducted Mock JRF Test at Shuhama Campus.
The outgoing, BV Sc & AH students currently undergoing internship participated in the test that covered both Veterinary and Animal Science streams, an official handout read.
Career Counseling and Placement Cell supported by the Dean Student Welfare, SKUAST-K conducted the test under the patronage of Dean, FV Sc & AH.
Co-ordinator Career Counseling and Placement Cell Dr Azmat Alam Khan informed that CCPC has been routinely conducting mock JRF examinations, however, this year two such examinations would be conducted.
The latest test was the first one and the second test would be conducted a fortnight before actual ICAR- JRF examination which is scheduled in May 2018.
Every year Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) conducts a national level examination for award of junior research fellowship (JRF) and admission to postgraduate courses in agriculture and allied sciences.
