SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik was on Monday discharged from SKIMS, Soura, party spokesperson said.
Malik was admitted in the hospital on February 14 after suffering from Haematuria and acute urinary retention and severe pain.
“Many medical tests of kidneys, abdomen and heart were taken during these days, the results of some of which are still awaited,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “Today after six days, doctors decided to discharge him from hospital and he (Malik) has reached back home.”
Expressing satisfaction over the health condition of JKLF chief, the spokesperson thanked people for their prayers and wishes. He expressed gratitude to the resistance, social, religious, political leaders and organisations and the people who visited Malik at hospital or wished him speedy recovery on phone.
He also applauded the dedication, passion and skills of doctors and paramedical staff at SKIMS for their support.
