Jammu: Three persons were arrested for murdering a 17-year-old boy at R S Pura area Jammu outskirts, reports said.

“The deceased identified as Abhay Mahajan was missing and on Sunday, his body was recovered from a field wrapped in a gunny bag ,” DySP Surinder Choudhary, SDPO R S Pura said on Monday.

He said that the boy was murdered, adding, “during investigation it was found that he has been murdered for money by the accused persons.”

The deceased might had fight with accused under the influence of liquor, said the officer.

Three people identified as Dheeraj Sharma, Ankur and their friend has been taken into custody.
