JKLF pays tributes of Haigam Sopore martyrs

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Thursday paid rich tributes to Haigam Sopore martyrs who were killed in 2001 when Indian forces opened fire on peaceful protesters.
On the occasion of their martyrdom day, a congregational prayers meeting was held in which JKLF deputy chief organizer Siraj ud din Mir, district presidents Abdul Rashid Magloo and Nisar Jeelani along with Ghulam Qadir Khan, Abdul Qayoom Sheikh, Muhammad Azeem Zargar and Muhammad Akbar Yatoo participated and paid tributes to these martyrs.
While remember the struggle and sacrifices of JKLF martyr Jalil Ahmad Shah who was martyred in custody at Haigam and after his martyrdom his mourners were also fired upon by forces killings dozens including many women, JKLF leaders prayed for the heavenly abode of the martyrs and reiterated their pledge to take the mission of these martyrs to its desired goal.
Meanwhile, JKLF delegation on Thursday visited Sandipora Budgam and met with the bereaved family of martyred Hurriyat Leader Muhammad Yousuf Nadeem. While paying rich tributes to martyr Nadeem, JKLF delegation expressed solidarity with his family. Another JKLF delegation led by Muhammad Maqbool Taploo visited Aanchar Soura and participated in a congregational prayers meeting held for JKLF martyr Ghulam Rasool Guru who was killed in 2002.
Meanwhile, JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, who is hospitalised, has asked people of Kashmir to pray for his health. Malik was admitted to SKIMS on Wednesday after he complained of urinary detention on Tuesday evening.
The spokesman said Malik complained of severe pain on Tuesday evening and he was rushed to Khyber hospital then SMHS and from there to SKIMS.
