Slain militant’s slain sister laid to rest in Shopian

Srinagar: Saima Wani who succumbed to her injuries late last night was laid to rest in her native place in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday.
Saima was injured during a gunfight between militants and government forces on January 24 in south Kashmir’s Shopian.
Local sources said that a large number of people attended her funeral prayers offered two times taking large gathering of people into consideration.
Saima Wani (18) daughter of Hilal Ahmad Wani, resident of Chaigund village was injured on January 24, when two local militants including Saima’s brother, Sameer Ahmad Wani, were killed in a gunfight with forces at Chaigund village of Shopian.
