RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on Monday that Kashmiris are waiting for the international community to wake up and hold the United Nations-promised plebiscite, Geo News reported.
In his Kashmir Day message, Army Chief also praised Kashmiri resistance leadership, saying that the “repression of Indian occupying forces can never suppress (the) valiant spirit of Kashmiris”.
His message was shared by Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor on Twitter.
“Repression of Indian occupying forces can never suppress valiant spirit of Kashmiris who rightfully await awakening of international community for plebiscite under UN resolution. Regardless of the ordeal, their struggle is destined to succeed IA. COAS,” Ghafoor tweeted.

    “International community”.

    Does any exist? Gen Bajwa knows the truth about the international community but had to say something.
