JAMMU: Governor, N.N. Vohra has condoled the passing away of M. M. Wazir, former DGP of J&Kwho died at New Delhi on Sunday.
Conveying his sympathy to the bereaved family Governor has prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has also condoled the passing away of former DGP, M MWazir.
The Chief Minister recalled the contribution of late Wazir in his professional life while conveying sympathies to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile DGP, S P Vaid condoled the demise of retired DGP M.M. Wazir on Sunday
M.M. Wazir has served Jammu and Kashmir Police in many capacities on many key posts during his service career.
The services of officer for the people of state and his dedication, devotion and professionalism in building of Jammu and Kashmir Police, besides his guidance to fellow officers/officials were recalled.
The DGP, officers of Jammu and Kashmir Police have conveyed their sympathies to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
