SRINAGAR: Karwan-e-Islami patron Moulana Ghulam Rasool Hami on Friday said the killings of innocent people especially youth has “exposed the real face of Delhi’s democracy” in Kashmir.
Addressing the Friday congregational gathering at Central Jamia Masjid Chewdara, Hami said, “Under a well-planned conspiracy, the Muslim identity and the Muslims of Kashmir are being brutally targeted by those running anti-Muslim agenda as every alternate day Kashmiris shoulder the coffins of their loved ones.”
“The war against humanity is on a full display in Kashmir and the irony is that those claiming to be the champions of democracy are still feeling thirsty of the human blood. Every district of Kashmir is witnessing innocent killings these days which are heart wrenching,” he said. Moulana said in Kashmir, the survival of a common man has become very difficult due to the everyday “dance of death”. He said Islam and Muslims have become targets of many forces across the world as Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world with thousands of people embracing this great religion every day.
“Instead of hoping for the help of the world community, Muslims should pin hopes on Almighty Allah and His beloved Prophet (SAW),” Moulana said.
Hami said the need of the hour is to create mass awareness about the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
