Clashes erupt in Pulwama amid shutdown

Srinagar: Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted in Pulwama town on Wednesday amid complete shutdown against the death of third a civilian in Shopian firing incident.
Local sources told Kashmir Reader that youth took to streets and hurled stones on government forces deployed in the town. Forces responded by tear smoke shells to disperse the protesters.
Earlier Rayees Ahmad Ganai of Narpora Shopian succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura. Rayees was injured in army firing incident in Ganowpora Shopian on January 27.
