Budgam: Angry protesters in central Kashmir’s Beerwah took to the streets on Wednesday, blaming the government for its “apathy” and the “culture of impunity”.
The protestors alleged that the people of the town are being deprived from all the basic amenities despite former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is representing the constituency.
“We are being exploited every day by political goons on one or the other pretext. And our pleas have been paid deaf ears,” protesters alleged.
Meanwhile, all shops were shut and traffic was seen off the roads in the town of Budgam district.
