LFB stresses for development of Kashmir’s Literary Philosophy

Bandipora: Literary activists on Monday said that there is a need to develop a full-fledged literary thought in Kashmir which, they said, is a powerful tool to know about people, places, cultures, a nation represent at an appropriate time.
Discussing various literary issues prevalent in Kashmir literary activists, Scholars, and poets on Monday stress on the establishment of all-inclusive Literary thought of Kashmir to shape a proper Literary Philosophy.
Activists during the first annual executive meeting of Literary Forum Bandipora, said that there is ambivalence in the literary thought of Kashmir that needs to be collected to shape a proper literary philosophy that should act as a literary identity in the future.
“Our literary thought is speckled which needs a professional compilation to shape a literary philosophy which has its roots in a distinctive tradition beyond the influence of East and West,” Literati said during a discussion.
Executive member of the literary forum while framing the yearly calendar of events mention that 2018 will be the year of developing the literary thought. Forum appealed all the scholars, literary critics and poets to come forward so that a coherent thought can be shaped.
The forum offers a special membership to states famous poet Shahnaz Rasheed and announced a publication of yearly journal on Literary Criticism from this year.
“Literary thought acts as a bridge leading to understanding and appreciating what is unfamiliar and we have a need to develop such independent thought in Kashmir,” Members said.
The meeting saw discussions on different aspects literary activities going on across the valley and stressed upon the literary organizations to work on the new literary ways and methods to respond the post-global era.
