DDC Kupwara reviews progress of CM’s directions

KUPWARA: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara Khalid Jahangir on Wednesday convened a joint meeting of officers and engineers from different departments to review the physical and financial status of on-going works under execution as per the CM’s directions and commitments issued at Kupwara during last September.
The meeting was attended by the officers and engineers of health, education, PHE, IFCR and animal husbandry, JKPCC, YSS, PDD, FES, PRI to discuss the related matters. The officers submitted the physical and financial status about the carried out works under commitments and directions of HCM.
The Chief Planning Officer, Kupwara informed the chair that out of 157 directions issued by the CM involving Rs 160 crores till date 60 commitments were implemented by different executing and implementing agencies. It was also given out that 6 mini -stadiums are under execution by YSS and RDD in the district. The chair was assured that DPRs/tendering process besides relevant documentations have been submitted for approval, while ongoing works carried out by the concerned are in progress.
The DDC impressed upon the YSS, R&B, PHE &I FC, JKPCC, PDD, health, education, RDD and others to implement the directions of Chief Minister as well as DDB decisions in letter and spirit.
