Superspeciality services started at DH Pulwama

SRINAGAR: In a move to deliver quality health services in peripheral hospitals, the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir (DHSK) has started superspeciality services at district hospital Pulwama in south Kashmir.
An official statement issued here said the hospital has started once a week OPD consultations for Gastro-Surgery, Onco- Surgery, Cardiology,Urology and CVTS and has been performing onco surgeries on routine basis where as dedicated OPD superspeciality consultations have been started from now onwards for better patient care.
Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Saleem ur Rehman said the superspeciality services are being provided in various specialities at JLNM Hospital Rainawari and DH Anantnag has recently started Cardiology and Endocrinology services in DH Baramulla.
“By extending advanced health care level at DH Pulwama, the patients attending the hospital will be benefited considerably,” he said.
