Camp for children with special needs organised in Pampore

PAMPORE: A Medical assessment cum measurement camp for Children with Special needs under Sarya Shiksha Abhiyan was organised by Education department in collaboration with ALIMCO & health department for Pampore and Kakapora areas of Pulwama district on Monday.
The assessment camp is being sponsored by Chief Education Office Pulwama.
Scores of students of some villages of both zones visited the camp and were assessed for their special needs.
However, the persons who visited the camp at Govt boys model higher secondary school Pampore alleged poor management by authorities led them to inconvenience.
They said that were asked to sit in open ground in the chilling winter by the officials at an institute which otherwise has more than 20 rooms.
“Necessary arrangements should have been made for us,” they added.
Meanwhile, Principal government boys model higher secondary school Tariq Ahmad told Kashmir Reader that all the rooms were at the disposal of management of event, “but they did not use them what he could do.”
