Srinagar: One person died while four others were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir valley.
In Budgam, a tractor driven by one Mushtaq Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Dar resident of Dar Mohalla, Nowraz Baba, Khag turned turtle near Malpora, resulting in on spot death of the driver and injuries to one Rouf Ahmad Naik resident of Sujan Khag. After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his next of kin for last rites while the injured person was shifted to hospital for treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.
In Kupwara, an oil-tanker bearing registration number JK02BH-9281 driven by one Prithpal Singh resident of Shrale Wali Baramulla skidded off from Kralpora bridge in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kralpora and fell into Hud Nallah, resulting in injuries to the driver. The injured was shifted to Kralpora Hospital for treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
In Ganderbal, an unknown vehicle hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK04-3507 driven by Raja Afsar Khan son of Afsar Khan at Darand near New Hilltop school in the jurisdiction of Police Post Nagbal, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and pillion namely Zeshan Mohammad Soliamani resident of Chandeeri Muzafar Nagar UP. Both the injured persons were shifted to sub-district hospital Ganderbal for treatment where from they have been shifted to Bone and Joint hospital Barzulla for further treatment. Ganderbal police has registered a case in this regard.
