SRINAGAR: Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Saturday distanced itself from the letter pads in the name of outfit wherein the threat has been issued to government officials. In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, a Hizb spokesperson Saleem Hashmi said militants are not allowed to intervene into the issues of government or civil matters.
“It is the handiwork of Indian agencies or some blue-eyed persons who take benefits by defaming us,” Hashmi said. He appealed to government officials to meet the pro-freedom leadership in this regard.
