Hurriyat Conference held executive council meet

SRINAGAR: A meeting of executive council of Hurriyat Conference was held at Hyderpora on Thursday.
General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Sumji in chair, took stock of prevailing situations in state, and in a unanimous voice, all constituent party member vowed to boycott upcoming local bodies (Panchayat) elections.
Reiterating their pledge to support poll boycott, the leaders said that taking part in election process tantamount “to betrayal with the sacred blood of martyrs”.
The meeting was attended by Ad Zamrooda Habib of Kashmir Tehreek-e- Khawateen, Mohd Yasin Ataie of People’s League, Feroz Ahmad Khan of Muslim League, Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan of People’s Freedom League, Molvi Bashir Irfani of Mass Movement, Hakim Rashid of Muslim Democratic League, Bilal Sidiqee of Tehreek-e-Mazahmat, Mohd Shafi Shah of People’s Political League, Gh Mohd Nagu of Anjuman-e-Shrie Shiyan, Peer Ab Rashid of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Gulshan Abbas of Tehreek-e-Wahdat Islami, Kh Firdous of DPM, Mohd Shafi Lone of Employees Movement and Gh Ahmad Gulzar of Insaf Party.
