NEW DELHI: Services on Monday made a mince of J&K bowlers, losing only one wicket to chase down a modest total of 128 in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T-20 format held at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium,New Delhi.
JK who elected to bat after winning the toss, lost its opener Shubham Khajuria in the second over, with the team losing batsman at regular intervals.
The only resistance offered was by Ian Chauhan who managed to score 47, before being caught by Ravi Chauhan of the bowling of Diwesh Gurdev Pathania.
J&K captain Parvez Rasool scored 20 runs. For services Pathania took three wickets while Avishek Kumar Sinha and A A Bamal took two each.
JK managed only 128 runs in 20 over’s losing all their wickets.
However, Services began on a sold note, with their openers Nakul Verma and Ravi scoring a first wicket partnership of 114.
Verma fell to Manzoor Dar in the 15th over, after he was caught by Parvez Rasool on 36. Ram Dayal, Umar Nazir were most expensive bowlers for J&K.
Services managed to score 130 runs in the 16th hour, securing four points for their team.
