Sopore murder mystery solved: Police

Srinagar: Police on Monday claimed to have solved a mysterious murder case of missing goldsmith of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
In a press conference SSP Sopore Dr Harmeet Singh told media reporters that Sopore police have solved a mysterious murder case of missing Goldsmith, Tariq Ahmed Malik 32 son of Ghulam Rasool of Kararoos Kupwara and in this regard four persons were arrested.
The arrested persons were identified as Mohammad Sajad Lara son of Mohammad Afzal Lara, Mohammad Adil Lara son of Mohammad Afzal Lara resident of Muslimpeer Sopore, Ghulam Mohammad Lara son of Ghulam Qadir Lara, and Nayeem Ahamd Lara son of Ghulam Mohammad Lara residents of Ashpeer Sopore.
He said that soon after the missing of goldsmith a special investigation team was constituted by Sopore police to trace out the missing Shopkeeper who had gone missing on 26th December from his shop ” Carratline Gold Shop” at Chota Bazar Sopore.
He said that the motive of these accused was to extort gold and money from the goldsmith, however SSP Sopore further added the efforts are on to trace out missing body.
Pertinently trade body Sopore had also called for a shutdown against the missing of a shopkeeper in the town.
