St Soldier group opens counseling center in Sgr

Srinagar: A Leading education group of Punjab, St. Soldier Group of Institutions Saturday opened a career counseling Information center here.
Prince Chopra Pro-Chairman of St. Soldier Group of Institution inaugurated the Career Counseling Centre in the Presence of Prof. Manhar Arora, Managing Director of the Group, Career Counselor Shahid Khan, Director Career Counseling Haravtar Singh and Principal Dr. Gurpreet Singh.
While speaking on the occasion, Prince Chopra said: “It has been found that there are lot of talented students in Kashmir, but many of them lacks the career awareness. For this reason their talent is not utilized, with this objective our group planned to open Career Counseling Information Center in Srinagar, where students can come and take the professional advice from our professional career counselors.”
He added that more than 800 students of Kashmir are enrolled in St. Soldier Group of Institutions.
“It is our responsibility to give back to Kashmir while spreading awareness among youth for advancement of their career,” he said.
Prof. Manhar Arora also briefed the media persons and said there are number of courses available in the various colleges which directly lead for employment or self-startup as Entrepreneur.
He added that opening of the Career Counseling Information center will be a place for all the students of Kashmir to come and seek guidance regarding their career planning in various professions like Hotel Management, Fashion Designing, Media and Entertainment, Pharmacy, Management, Information Technology, Law, Civil Services, Physiotherapy, Engineering, Vocational Skill Development and others. Further he added that career counseling sessions will be free for students and they can come directly or seek prior appointments from the career counselors.
