Can review cooperation with US if not appreciated: Pak

UNITED NATIONS: A top Pakistani diplomat on Tuesday said Islamabad’s cooperation with Washington was not based on any aid consideration, but “on our national interests and principles.”
“We can review our cooperation if it is not appreciated,” Ambassador Maleeha Lodhi, Pakistan’s permanent representative to the U.N., said in response to media questions about Haley’s comments. “We have contributed and sacrificed the most in fighting international terrorism and carried out the largest counter terrorism operation anywhere in the world,” Ambassador Lodhi asserted.
“US spokespersons should not shift the blame for their own mistakes and failures onto others,” she added.
