Yasin Malik too arrested

Srinagar: After detaining members of Hurriyat Conference (G) and house arrest of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, police also arrested Yasin Malik on Wednesday ahead of seminar at Hyderpora on Thursday.

Reports said that Malik was detained from his Maisuma early today and was later shifted to Central Jail Srinagar.

Hurriyat Conference chief, Syed Ali Geelani, and his deputy Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai remain under continuous house detention. The duo has not been allowed to move out of their homes for long now.

Geelani has called a seminar to discuss UN resolution on Kashmir at his Hyderpora residence tomorrow.
