Srinagar: The opposition parties of Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday raised slogans and tried to disrupt the Governor N N Vohra’s address before staging a walk-out from the legislative assembly in Jammu.
The J&K legislative assembly session began in the winter capital with the governor’s joint address.
The opposition members started raising slogans soon after the Governor began his speech, reports said.
The protesting members later staged a walkout from the House.
Earlier, independent lawmaker, Er Rashid staged a protest outside the assembly gate demanding right to self determination for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
