Srinagar: Body of the third militant has been recovered by the government forces on Monday at Lethpora CRPF camp which was attacked by JeM militants yesterday.
The identity of the third militant was yet to be ascertained, sources said.
The forces had resumed their operation for the second consecutive day at Lethapora’s Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) training centre earlier today.
Heavily armed Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) militants had attacked the camp in the wee hours of Sunday, killing five CRPF soldiers and injuring three others.
Two local militants were killed later on Sunday.
One of the militants killed was a Class 10 student whose father is part of Jammu and Kashmir’s police force.
