SRINAGAR: Scores of BSC Nursing students on Saturday staged a demonstration at Press Enclave in Srinagar on Saturday to demand results of their first year examination
The protesters raised the slogans against the college authorities and appealed to the Vice-Chancellor of Kashmir University to intervene into the matter. Saika, a student, said “We have appeared in the examination in June 2017. Six months has passed but our results are still pending. We have also visited the principal office at GMC and Kashmir University. The college have already completed all the formalities. The Examination department Of Kashmir University is asking for re-examination, but we do not want to reappear in the examination that was already held.”
The students alleged that the authorities at Kashmir university were claiming that the marks sheet of their externals practical’s held by the Government Medical College (GMC) have been lost.
“Our external praticals were held by GMC . Its marks sheet was forwarded to Kashmir University. The authorities of Kashmir University are claiming that marks sheet of BSC nursing of GMC have lost. We have also requested the GMC authorities to intervene, but our results are still pending,” said a protestor.
