BARAMULLA: Police-public meetings were held at police post Langate and Chogul in district Handwara in north Kashmir on Monday.
In Chogul, meet was chaired by DO Chougul, Mohammad Sadiq, which was attended by number of citizens and other civil society members. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance. Matters regarding to development in the area were also discussed.
The participants further assured their full support and cooperation in fighting social crimes. The officers assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time and the rest will be taken up with civil administration for their redressal.
In Langate, meet was chaired by DySP(ops),Tariq Mehmood, accompanied by in-charge police post Langate, Jan Mohammad and SI Reyaz Ahmed. The meeting was attended by large number of people including representatives of all the villages falling in the jurisdiction of police post Langate.
