‘3 Army soldiers killed at Keri along LoC’

Srinagar: Three Indian army soldiers, including an officer, were killed and one other injured in alleged attack by Pakistani forces at the Keri (120 Infantry Brigade) Battalion area of Rajori in Jammu and Kashmir, ANI reported.

Earlier this week Minister of State for Home Hansraj Ahir had informed the Lok Sabha that a total of 881 alleged ceasefire violations have taken place along the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir this year, killing 30 people.

No cross-border firing has been reported in other states except Jammu and Kashmir along the border with Pakistan, the minister said replying to a written question.

More details awaited.
