Forces fighting with civilians: DeM

SRINAGAR: Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) on Tuesday paid glowing tributes to militants who were killed in a gunfight in Batmuran village of Shopian district of south Kashmir.
In a statement, DeM general secretary Nahida Nasreen said the “martyrdoms” have sent the whole valley into a state of mourning. “These young men leave their comfort zones and take up arms to free Kashmir from occupation,” she said.
Nasreen said the people of Pakistan have always been at the forefront of the Kashmir freedom struggle and have sacrificed many youth for Kashmiri people. “The young boys from Pakistan travel all the way to fight for us and our rights and as such we have an added responsibility to safeguard these sacrifices,” she said.
“People of Kashmir cannot afford to let these sacrifices go waste,” Nasreen said. “It is because of these martyrs that despite passing of seven decades, Kashmir issue is still alive. All Indian conspiracies and its sinister plans have failed so far because of the sacrifices laid by these men.”
DeM general secretary said also paid glorious tributes to the slain lady Beauty Jan who was killed by government forces during clashes.
“India is not only fighting the armed Mujahideen in Kashmir but also the civilian population. This is part of the same policy where Indian Army chief Gen Rawat said that whoever will fight against India will be treated as OGWs of the mujahideen and will be killed,” Nasreen said.
“The bloodshed here will only stop when India leaves Jammu and Kashmir by ending its illegal occupation,” she said.
