Srinagar: Around a dozen candidates from various districts who had applied for the posts of Female Multipurpose Health Worker (FMHW) have not received their admission cards for the examination scheduled on December 21.
The candidates who spoke to Kashmir Reader over telephone said that they approached Service Selection Board head-office regarding their issues but were referred to divisional office at Parray pora Srinagar.
Nelofar Jan , a candidate form District Bandipora, said that she spoke to several Service Selection Board (SSB) officials who sent her back saying that they cannot help her because of the darbar move.
“I was told that Darbar move is going on and we won’t be able to do anything. When I explained my problem the official said do whatever you want to do, go to the media and highlight it which won’t harm us at all.” Nelofar said.
The candidates said that they could not understand why they have not received admission cards despite fulfilling all the formalities.
“When I went to collect my admission card, the status showed fee is pending. I went to to bank where they showed me details that everything is clear.” Asiya, a candidate from Anantnag said.
“The SSB officials told me that some mistake happened, ‘there was fault in our system. Now we can’t do anything’.” Asiya said. Chairman, SSB Simrandeep Singh told Kashmir Reader that they cannot help the candidates.
“We had already notified on our official website that if someone is facing any problem regarding examination, he should consult us before 11th December, but we had not received any case regarding this. And it is a computer based exam now we cannot do anything nor can we refund the candidates,” Singh said.
