SRINAGAR: To continue its effort to strengthen police-public relations, PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held in police station Bandipore on Friday.
“The main objective of the meeting was to inform general public about the many social issues like drug addiction, corruption, traffic mess and other issues being faced by the public,” said police statement.
During the meeting, participants discussed many issues with the police officers and shared their suggestions to solve the issues prevalent in their areas.
The participants were assured by SSP Bandipore that their genuine grievances will be conveyed to the concerned departments, and sought their support in curbing social menace prevalent in the society.
The meeting was chaired by SSP Bandipore, Sheikh Zulfikar Azad, and attended by civil society, trader’s federation, former sarpanchs, panchs and youth.
Additional SP Bandipore, DySP Hqrs Bandipore and SHO Bandipore were also present in the meeting.
