10 injured in road accident

Anantnag: Ten residents of Brariangan village in Anantnag district, were injured on Wednesday after the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a Nallah.
Nine of the injured were treated locally while one was shifted to Anantnag district hospital; and is stable.
According to police reports a Tavera cab, bearing number JK03AA-5223, skidded off due to slippery road conditions and plunged into a Nallah.
“The vehicle was Anantnag bound from Brariangan,” a police official said.
He said that the injured were immediately rescued and shifted to the Shangus Sub-District hospital.
“While the rest were discharged after first aid, one of the injured was shifted to Anantnag district hospital,” the official said, adding that he was stable as well.
The injured persons have been identified by doctors as Rouf Ahmad Malik, Safia, Shahnaza, Mohammad Iqbal, Mohammad Maqbool Wani, Manzoor Ahmad Wani, Aisha Begun, Mohammad Ashraf Khan, Khurshid Ahmad Sheikh and Shahzada Banu all residents of Brariangan village of Anantnag.
