Mehbooba writes to Nadda seeking MDS exam centre

JAMMU: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has written once again to Health and Family Welfare Minister J P Nadda, seeking extension of the state’s NEET(PG) 2018 centres in respect of dental graduates taking the NEET(PG) examination.
In her communication, the Chief Minister said that since some exam centres have already been established on her request by the National Board of Examination (NBE), the same facility may be extended to dental graduates of the state.
Mehbooba has requested the union Health Minister for his intervention in the matter to allow the usage of these centres for dental graduates whose examination falls in the afternoon of the same day as the NEET(PG) exam, January 7, 2018.
It is pertinent to mention here that two centres at Baramulla and Srinagar were set up by the NBE in addition to the two already established at Jammu and Samba on the Chief Minister’s intervention for the coming NEET (PG)-2018 examination in view of the large number of candidates from the Kashmir Valley taking the examination.
