SRINAGAR: Agriculture Department Kashmir organised a training programme on the implementation of Public Finance Management System (PFMS)/Centralisation Personal Information System (CPIS) here on Saturday.
The training programme was attended by all the DDOs and dealing assistants of agriculture department, an official handout said.
The main purpose for conducting the training programme is to achieve smooth functioning and implementation of Public Finance Management System and to complete the data base information of the employees, the handout read.
Director Agriculture Ajaz Andrabi said that the system would prove a game changer in strengthening transparency and accountability at all levels of administration in the department.
He said that it would provide the administration real-time information on resource availability and utilisation across schemes.
Meanwhile, on the eve of “International Anti Corruption Day” director agriculture Kashmir impressed upon the participants of the training programme and employees of the department to take pledge for the promotion of transparency and accountability at all the levels of administration in the department, the handout added.
