46 driving licenses forwarded for suspension

SRINAGAR: Traffic police has forwarded 46 driving licences for six-month suspension for using mobile phones while driving, in the last few months, Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic City Srinagar, Tahir Saleem said Tuesday.
“As many as 28 driving licenses of traffic violators using cell phones while driving have already been suspended and 18 are in the process of suspension,” the SSP said.
He advised people not to use cell phones while driving a vehicle to avoid prosecution. He said the Traffic Police City Srinagar is going to intensify the drive against the persons using cell phones while driving.
