Kashmiris fighting for a sacred cause: DeM

SRINAGAR: Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) on Tuesday said the people of Kashmir are fighting for a “sacred cause” for the last seven decades and are offering priceless sacrifices. It paid glowing tributes to militants killed in a gunfight in Qazigund on Monday.
In a statement, DeM general secretary Nahida Nasreen said the sacrifices offered by slain Yawar Bashir, Furqan Ahmad and Muawya Ahmad are the “invaluable assets of the ongoing freedom movement”.
“The martyrdom of slain Furqan who had overtaken the operations of the Lashkar-e-Toiba in Kashmir after the martyrdom of Abu Ismail is a loss beyond any thought,” she said. “We should learn to take care of these sacrifices.”
Nasreen said the people who have fallen to the “petty offers of the occupational forces” should immediately retreat and seek forgiveness.
“They have adopted a way that will lead them astray,” she said. “Such people should stop these shameless acts.”
“The people of Kashmir have always been supportive of the mujahideen and will continue to do so barring a few Indian agents. The proof of the same is that people move out from their homes to chase away the forces to help the mujahideen escape,” Nasreen said.
