SRINAGAR: Al-Hilal Educational Institute Hudri Kishtwar run by J&K Yateem Foundation celebrated its 2nd annual day. In this connection, Divisional Coordinator Javaid Ahmad Kariapak presented detailed profile of activities of Al-Hilal Educational Institute.
Chairman J&K Yateem Foundation participated in the programme as chief guest while as general secretary and secretary finance were special invitees, an official statement issued here said. Huge gathering of people besides teachers and volunteers of JKYF were present in the day long function. Among the participants, Shabir Hussain Zargar general manager Pikal Dam NHPC project Kishtwar participated as special guest.
In his welcome speech, Haji Mohammad Iqbal Kilam thanked all the participants who attended the function. The proceedings were conducted by Mohsin Ahmad (teacher) and students of Al-Hilal Educational Institute. The function commenced with the recitation of verses from Holy Qur’an by Saimoon Zakir Ahangar, a 5th class student of AHEI and concluded with the ‘Dua’ (prayers) by the group of students of the institution.
During the programme, all the personalities of Kishtwar district, elderly religious scholars, writers, experts, social workers and staff members of JKYF paid rich tributes to those who expired while performing their duties in the social sector.
The students of Al-Hilal Educational Institute presented different colourful programmes and presented different variety of entertainment programmes. Many members of the audience presented cash gifts to children who performed outstanding performances on the occasion.
