JKLF condoles demises of party members’ relatives

SRINAGAR: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik has on Tuesday expressed his heartfelt grief over the demise of prominent social activist Haji Abdul Rahim Aakhoon of Wethpara, Soitaing who breathed his last on Monday. The deceased was the father of JKLF senior member Shamim Ahmad Aakhoon.
Malik and party’s senior leaders including vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat, secretary general Ghulam Rasool Dar (Eidhi) visited Soitaing and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family, a JKLF statement issued here said.
Terming the demise of Haji Abdul Rahim as a great loss, Malik said the deceased was a noble person. He prayed for his heavenly abode and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, the party also expressed sorrow over the demise of the aunt of JKLF “great martyr” Aurangzeb of Watergam, Sopore and grandmother of party’s senior member Molvi Riyaz Ahmad. A party delegation led by zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal which included Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Ghulam Muhammad Dar, district president Baramulla Abdul Rashid Magloo, and Farooq Ahmad Dar visited Watergam, Rafiabad and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.
