Bandipora: Traders to boycott CM meet for Ignoring district in the developmental front: Call for shutdown on Sunday.
Bandipora: Traders Federation Bandipora has decided to boycott public meet with Chief Minister scheduled to be held on Sunday at mini- secretariat in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
In a statement, the traders’ federation accused the district administration and Municipal Committee Bandipora of ignoring the town and accused them of turning a blind eye towards the miseries of the dwellers and businessman of the main market.
The statement added that the administration has failed to meet the demands of local populace while as the officials of Municipal Committee Bandipora have failed on every front in carrying the beautification of Bandipora town and providing public utilities to the town dwellers despite the fact that MC Bandipora collects huge revenue.
The Federation has asked all the shopkeepers to shut down their business on Sunday as a mark of protest against the ‘inefficiency of district administration’.
