Srinagar: Pakistan has been conducting backdoor diplomacy with the arch-rival India in a bid to resolve the issues and release tensions through talks, Pakistan national security advisor has confirmed.
According to a report carried by Pakistan Today on Saturday, talking to media, General (r) Nasir Janjua said India has to eventually come on the table for talks to protect its own interests. “Pakistan is ready to hold talks with India on Kashmir and other basic issues,” he said.
Janjua alleged that India had committed unprecedented human rights violations in the Kashmir valley.
He praised the Pakistan Army soldiers for their valour in protecting the borders. Gen (r) Janjua assured that the state will triumph in the war against terrorism.
