Karwan-e-Islami organises Milad rally

SRINAGAR: To celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), a grand rally was organised on Friday from Shaheed Ganj Srinagar to Trigam Shadipora by Karwan-e-Islami International under the patronage of its chairman Moulana Ghulam Rasool Hami in which more than one lakh devotees took part, a statement by the organisation said. At the end of rally, holy relics were also displayed.
Addressing the rally, Hami said, “The anti-Islamic agencies are utilising their full power to defame Islam. So the Muslims all around the world need to get united.”
He said a “well planned policy” has been formulated to make our youth drug and alcohol addict and it is the duty of everyone to save youth from this addiction and guide them towards right way. “Every Muslim needs to follow the path shown by Hazrat Muhammad (SAW),” he said.
Apart from central Milad rally, the statement said, Karwan-e-Islami International had organised rally in Ganderbal, Kupwara, Baramulla, Sopore and several other places in valley.
