Srinagar: China is building airports along the border from Kashmir to Gujarat at a breakneck speed, media reports said on Saturday adding two airports have been built in last four months and two are underway.
Bang opposite Ghotaru border in Jaisalmer, around 25km from airbase is ready in Kadanwali’s Khairpur. Chinese soldiers’ presence in Peerkamal and Cholistan has increased in recent months. This will be used for Chinese fighter planes, radar and other modern equipment, reports said.
According to reports another airport is coming up in Tharparkar across Munabao. Similarly, a airport is being constructed in Mithi along Gujarat border. Railway tracks are also being laid in the name of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
